Salvation

Confessing

There is only one way to become a child of God. Anyone can become one, but you must understand some very hard truths. Salvation is not automatic. To become a child of God you must first confess or admit that you have sinned against a perfect and holy God. Every person is a sinner and born into sin. (Romans 3:23)

The Bible tells us in Romans 6:23 that because of our sin, we deserve eternal punishment in hell. That is not a truth we want to imagine. Hell is worse than you may think. Primarily it is eternal separation from God. We deserve everlasting judgment; and those who do not admit they're a sinner stand no chance on Judgment Day. But don't lose hope, God made a way to receive eternal life even though we could not save ourselves!

Believing

John 3:16 tells us that God loved the world so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for sinners so that they might be saved. It happens by believing on what Christ came to do. He died, was buried, and rose again on the third day. He conquered the grave so that we might live again! This life is short, but eternity is forever! Christ did it all, but we must personally trust Christ..

Receiving

Simply put, receiving means accepting. A gift is always free. There is nothing you could do to obtain eternal life, and there is nothing you could do to lose it since you did nothing to earn it. We are saved by grace through faith. Going to church and being a good person cannot save a person. It is only when we, by faith, trust Christ alone to save us.

Romans 6:23: “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Romans 10:9-10: “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Romans 10:13:
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

We deserve eternal death. Jesus came that you might experience real abundant life now and eternal life with Him. But there's only one way!

Confess your sins, and he'll forgive them all once and for all.
Believe on what Jesus did for you for salvation.
Receive and accept the gift of God through Jesus Christ by asking God to do it. He said He would. God never makes a promise He can't keep.

Salvation is a one-time life choice that only you can make. Will you trust Christ to save you today?
